 Several years ago, I came across a post on Facebook of a gypsy wagon. I envisioned myself traveling in this wagon and doing readings. I knew I just had to have one!

The pull of that wagon was so strong, and I knew just the person who could help. I called my father-in-law Bill, who built houses, and asked if he could help my husband John build me one. He said absolutely, just get him some plans.

I was so excited! I began my search for the perfect gypsy wagon design, along with the trailer to build it on so I could take it on the road. It took a couple of years of planning, building, and decorating, but I finally had my wagon!

The wagon made its debut appearance at the summer festival held at the Stonington Vineyards in Stonington, CT. The Bewitched wagon has been there every year since, for both the vineyard’s summer and fall festivals.

I have traveled to other festivals with it and it’s definitely a labor of love. You can find my wagon on the lawn at my shop, Bewitched of Scituate when you visit. If you want to check it out, just ask when you visit the shop. Did I mention it has a fireplace, a bed, benches, and a table and chairs to sit at for a reading?

Do I sell potions? Well of course I do, but you won't find them on the floor for sale at Bewitched. I'm not your typical witch shop. I believe that the magic inside every person is unique and to truly make a potion for someone you have to know them or use your psychic ability to feel the persons energy to correctly make the right magical concoction.

I do sell all kinds of potions in many different forms, from soaps, oils, sprays, etc., in the shop with certain basic intentions for the greater good. Sometimes you can catch me on the sales floor on a Saturday and I can help make it with you or show you how to create a potion, one-on-one. If this is something you are interested in I would love to create magic with you!

Welcome to the Bewitched Library!

I have always wanted a library where people could come and relax, drink tea, and read. This comes from my love of reading. Back in 2017, I asked the universe to help me start my library and soon thereafter, the universe answered.

One day, a woman named Suzanne came into the shop with her mother. Over the years, she had collected a large number of items that were witchy and spiritual in nature. She wanted to donate these items because she was looking to start on a new path. I told her I would love her collection.

Suzanne and her mother continued to look around the shop and I could see her father in spirit was with them. I asked if I could give them a message from him and they said yes. I continued with what he wanted them to know and then they thanked me, and we started to talk again. It’s a long story, but Suzanne ended up donating most of her collection to the shop, and four years later, she has become a good friend. She also decided to say on her spiritual path.

That first donation was just the beginning. The universe has continued to send me people looking to donate books and the Bewitched Library has amassed a magical collection of books on healing, metaphysical, history, witches, and more.

So, if you are in the area and you want to stop in to meet the Bewitches and enjoy a good book and tea, we welcome you to our library room.
